How did this all begin? Well my husband and I love food. We’re those people that always talk about the food they’re eating, plan their next meal way in advance and are on the hunt for the best dish. We both love to cook and bake. I didn’t really start baking until I was in my 20’s (that was still over 20 years ago!), and my husband used to bake with his mom and proudly continues her sweet legacy. We have two amazing children, Jacqueline and Michael, who are our greatest joys and expert taste testers.

In 2002, when our daughter Jacqueline was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, we immediately worried about her limited diet. A diet that shuns such commonly used grains as wheat, barley and rye – the basis for so many foods we all know and love. We couldn’t have her go through life feeling limited so we began to bake all the time!

Baking became more than a passion but a means to make sure Jacqueline wasn’t missing out. We quickly created gluten-free versions of all our household recipes.

Then it happened… the creation of a caramelized, coconut confection that tasted like nothing we had ever had. It took macaroons to new heights and was a true decadent experience. After years of enjoying them with family and friends and lots of encouragement to sell them, we proudly bring you More-Than-A-Macaroon. They’re always made Jackie's macaroon cookiescookieswith love and they’re always gluten -free. We hope they bring you all the sweet moments they’ve brought our family.
